The Agence Française de Développement has commissioned PwC (in partnership with IRIS and Women Sports Africa) to conduct a study on the sport practice of women and girls in 5 African countries: Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, Senegal and South Africa.

In this study, the term “sport” refers to all individual and collective sports disciplines and all levels of practice (amateur, professional, competition), excluding work-related physical activities.

In addition to literature review, targeted interviews and participatory workshops, this online survey does not claim to have any statistical value but can help to better understand how the sector is perceived in each of the five countries and to report on good practices and exemplary initiatives.

This anonymous and confidential questionnaire is addressed to both women and men, regardless of their sport practice. It remains available until February 17, 2021 by following the link below.
