The "Sustainability Essentials" series of guides by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) provides a set of analyses that cover key aspects of sustainability in the sports industry. Aimed at National Olympic Committees, International Sports Federations and other sports organisations, it provides them with tools and methods for integrating sustainability into their operations. Published at the end of 2018 in collaboration with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the second instalment in the series aims to ensure a better understanding of issues relating to climate change and managing carbon emissions.
