As part of its annual Young Leader program, the French African Foundation is launching a call for applications to select 100 new young leaders of the promotion 2021 including about 15 candidates from the sports ecosystem. “Sport and Development” will be one of the main themes of this session.

Overview

As the youth of Africa and France belong to a single generation, carrying shared responsibilities in a common world, the French-African Foundation wishes to contribute to the emergence of a Franco-African succession, which is able, by its values and means of action, to meet the social, economic and political challenges of its time.

For this 2021 edition, the foundation shares the idea that sport contributes significantly to economic development and has a strong power of inspiration among young Franco-Africans.
