Solidarité Aveugle : blind football for development
Context
In 2012, Libre Vue successfully built a pitch designed specifically for blind football in the grounds of the Institute for Blind Youth in Bamako. Since then, boys and girls of all ages have been enjoying facilities adapted to their disability, under appropriate supervision.
An exceptional personal development tool, blind football is a school of life where everyone has the opportunity to overcome their own limitations and present another image of themselves to their family and friends and their social environment. Team sports give young people the chance to strengthen their self-confidence and their sense of community belonging.
The association Libre Vue now wants to help these young people pursue their dream: to participate in the Paralympic Games !
