Objectives
Sport en Commun is a pan-African platform designed to structure, finance and scale sport-driven development initiatives. It acts as a catalyst at the intersection of sport, finance and development, connecting project leaders, investors, institutions and technical partners to transform sport into a powerful engine for social, educational and economic impact across Africa.
Sport en Commun was created to unlock the full potential of sport as a development asset, by addressing the structural gaps that limit impact: access to financing, technical support, partnerships and visibility.
Our objectives are to:
- Identify, structure and support high-impact sport projects across Africa, from grassroots initiatives to large-scale infrastructure and programs.
- Facilitate access to financing by connecting projects with public and private funders, impact investors and blended finance mechanisms.
- Strengthen project quality and execution capacity through technical assistance, mentoring and tailored support.
- Create bridges between actors (project holders, governments, federations, donors, investors, private sector) to foster coordination and collective impact.
- Increase the visibility and credibility of projects, enabling them to attract partners, funding and long-term support.
