The 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship focused on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) activities, with 10 teams and races across 20 countries. Formula 1's sustainability strategy, launched in 2019, aims for Net Zero Carbon by 2030, positive community legacies, and greater inclusivity. Key stakeholders, including the FIA, teams, race promoters, and fans, work together on sustainability initiatives. These include reducing plastic waste, promoting sustainable fan travel, supporting local communities, and increasing renewable energy usage at events. Formula 1 also reports annual carbon data, demonstrating its commitment to reducing its environmental impact.
