The report's SROI section (page 32) evaluates the social return on investment (SROI) for Disability Rugby League, developed in partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University. It builds on and adapts the methodology from the 2019 Rugby League Dividend report, incorporating additional social outcomes from the updated Sport England model. The adaptations highlight unique benefits of Disability Rugby League, such as improved socializing, friendship-building for youth players, and increased confidence for all participants. The Rugby Football League also conducted a survey targeting all participants of Disability Rugby League to better understand the social and personal impacts of the sport. The survey was complemented by interviews with players, parents, and volunteers.
