This report represents an effort to develop a tool for measuring the connection between sport and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), providing a framework for evaluating how policies related to physical education, physical activity, and sport contribute to the SDGs. The report includes 60 sport and SDG indicators across seven domains: • Health and Well-Being for All • Quality Education and Life-Long Learning for All • Economic Growth and Productive Employment for All • Sustainable Communities, Consumption and Environment-Friendly Practices • Peaceful, Inclusive and Equitable Societies • Gender Empowerment for All Women and Girls • System Strengthening and Protecting the Integrity of Sport In partnership with global data custodians and based on domain-specific recommendations, the report encourages sport ministries, policymakers, and investors to collaboratively collect, report, and publicly share data on the contribution of sport to development.
