Sport for development offers several new fields of inquiry for donors, including prospecting for little-known partners, renewing dialogue with current stakeholders and launching innovative approaches. The Agence Française de Développement (AFD) has categorised Sport and Development projects so that a wide spectrum of activities can be covered. Twelve types of project are presented in this methodological guide, grouped into three categories: public sector, private sector and civil society.
