The Foundation’s mission is to support the protection, development and empowerment of children and young people living in vulnerable situations through sport. The Foundation is a major initiative resulting from the strong and long-standing partnership that has united the IOC and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) since 1994.
