The International Olympic Committee (IOC), Beyond Sport and Women Win are looking for five cutting-edge initiatives using innovation in sport for sustainable development and to help shape and challenge what it means to innovate in the sector.

Overview

In response to intensifying global challenges, and as part of a joint commitment to promote the innovative use of sport as an enabler of the Sustainable Development Goals, the IOC, Beyond Sport and Women Win are collaborating on an exciting new initiative, the Olympism365 Innovation Hub.

Ahead of the full launch of the Hub, the IOC, Beyond Sport and Women Win are looking for cutting-edge initiatives using innovation to make the world a better place through sport.

 

Key information

  • Geographical coverage: worldwide
  • Beneficiaries: individuals and organisations (NPO, NGO, Social entreprise, public institutions, others.)
  • Type of support: investment of up to $10,000 ; opportunities to contribute to shaping the work and future direction of the Olympism365 Innovation Hub ; access to additional learning and development opportunities
  • Selection method: call for applications
  • Application deadline: June 16th, 2024

 

Eligibility criteria

  • Innovations must be active.
  • Innovations must be approved for global promotion. All imagery/videos shared in applications require informed consent from the individuals featured and permissions for use.
  • Candidates must be open to participating in shared learning sessions to contribute to advancements in how sport is used innovatively for sustainable development.
  • Selected applicants will need to agree to reporting requirements. Further details will be distributed post selection.

Women Win is a women's fund that leverages the power of sport to advance girls' and women's rights.
