Emancip’action in Burkina Faso through rugby
Context
According to the Rugby Federation, rugby in Burkina Faso is not as popular and widespread as the other sports. The lack of both facilities and local resources for the promotion of this sport are the main obstacles. In 2018, there were 8 clubs, a score of rugby academies with about 1,000 license-holding players. For the Rugby Federation, the difficulties are significant from the lack of equipment to a shortage of certified people to raise the level of rugby.
