A project managed by TIBU Maroc

Founded in 2010 by Mohamed Amine Zariat, TIBU Maroc is a non-profit association that works to promote and foster participation in basketball in Morocco through educational and social projects. As a leader in the field of social innovation through sport, TIBU Maroc uses basketball as a driving force for education, cohesion and social integration.
TIBU Maroc launched, the Mama Fit programme during the international day of women’s rights. This programme targets 100 housewives between 25 and 50. Mama Fit aims to promote regular sports practice and empowerment among Moroccan women as means of positive transformation.

Context

It is through sport that the NGO encourages their education, social and professional integration. With the support of Jibal (a partner company specializing in the production of dairy products), the idea of the Mama Fit programme arose from the observation that sport is an activity mainly reserved for men in the neighbourhoods.
