PLAYING THE GAME OF HEALING (Bureau des Sports)
Context
In 2021, 258 children without family support or at risk of losing it are being cared for in the programmes run by SOS Children’s Villages in the city of Agadir. At the village level, 155 children grow up each year under the protection of a surrogate mother. These children very often bear an irreparable wound and see their lives completely disrupted. In addition to these traumas, there are the specific psychosocial needs and fragile mental health of the children in the care of the establishment.
Through this project, SOS Children’s Villages uses sport to promote the development of the children.
